Tyler Groce, OD

Dr. Tyler Groce, OD, is a native of Yadkin County.  He received degrees from North Carolina State University in 2009, and earned his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 2013.

Dr. Groce has extensive experience in ocular disease and has special interest in managing irregular corneas, including Keratoconus. He is a member of the American Optometric Society, the NC State Optometric Society, and the Winston-Salem Optometric Society. Dr. Groce has a passion for medical missions and has performed eye exams in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Honduras.

In his free time, Dr. Groce enjoys spending time with wife, Dr. Van Vo, who also practices eye care in Winston-Salem at eyecarecenter. He also enjoys spending time with his sons, their dog, and cheering for NC State. Dr. Groce is a member of Center Grove Baptist Church.
