About Shirin Esmail
Dr. Shirin Esmail, OD, graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in 2003. She further advanced her knowledge and clinical skills during her Ocular Disease residency at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. Dr. Esmail values building a strong doctor-patient relationship, stressing the importance of patient education so that patients are able to be involved in maintaining great vision and eye health.
Dr. Esmail provides comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings and evaluations. She is also trained in pre and postoperative refractive surgery care and in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of ocular diseases.
In her free time, Dr. Esmail enjoys travelling, baking, reading and spending time with her husband and three children.
