About Michael Baughan
Dr. Michael Baughan, OD, has worked at eyecarecenter in Elizabeth City for over twenty years as an optometrist. Dr. Baughan has treated eye care patients from many parts of the world, including Haiti, St. Lucia, Trinidad, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, mainland Cuba, and Belize, as a volunteer eye doctor for Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity in the North Carolina chapter.
Dr. Baughan has been a practicing optometry since 1985 after attending The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving in many diverse oceans, while providing free eye exams to locals. He is married to his lovely wife, and they live in Elizabeth City, NC, where he provides full-scope optometry.
