Destiny McDuffie, OD

Dr. Destiny McDuffie, OD, joined eyecarecenter Wilson in 2021. Dr. McDuffie was raised in Fremont, North Carolina and graduated from Meredith College where she majored in Biology & Chemistry, minoring in Chemical Physics. She obtained her doctorate at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and completed externships at the Greenville VA and in Beverly Hills, CA.

Dr. McDuffie has certifications in specialty lens fittings for keratoconus, orthokeratology, and myopia control. She is passionate about public health and promoting early diagnosis and management of conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and dry eye. When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with family and attending services at her local church.
