About David Weitz
Dr. David Weitz, OD, graduated from optometry school in 1995 and completed a one year hospital-based optometry residency at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. After his residency, Dr. Weitz moved to North Carolina and has been practicing in the Triangle ever since.
Dr. Weitz's professional interests include the development of dry eye clinics designed to offer the latest in dry eye treatment techniques. Dr. Weitz has helped many patients improve their quality of life by the use of cutting edge dry eye treatments such as Lipiflow, Regenereyes, BLEPHEX, amniotic membrane application, corneal hydration and medication. Dr. Weitz also rehabilitates vision deficiencies in patients with damage from LASIK and keratoconus.
