About Angela MacDonald
Dr. Angela MacDonald began her career as an optician in 1997, but after working in the optical field for several years she aspired to pursue a degree in optometry. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from NC State in 2002 and then attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. Dr. MacDonald earned the elite honor of receiving the Dean's Award for Excellence for her graduating class of 2006.
Dr. MacDonald joined eyecarecenter in 2011 and her interests are in primary eye care, contact fittings, dry eye, and pediatrics. Dr. MacDonald was born and raised in Jacksonville, NC and resides there with her husband and two children. In her free time she enjoys traveling, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
